This page explains how the information you share is used when you enquire about a trip with DLN Travel.

Information and purpose

When completing a quote request, you may provide your name, email, phone number, preferences and trip details. We use this information to reply, prepare a proposal and communicate with you about that trip. “How did you hear about DLN Travel?” is optional. We do not use a quote request to send marketing campaigns without a separate choice.

How the quote form works

The form prepares a message and opens WhatsApp so you can send it. Filling in the form alone does not send your information to DLN Travel, and this website does not retain a database of quote-form responses. You can review or cancel the message before sending. Use of WhatsApp is also subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

Traveller Stories

When you submit a story, we store your name, email, answers and photos for editorial review. Stories remain pending until manually approved. Your email and full name are not published; only your chosen public name appears. Photos appear only if you authorise their use separately. Permission to adapt excerpts for social media is separate and optional. You may request access, correction, withdrawal of permission or deletion of your submission using the email below. Withdrawal does not affect publications made before your request, but we will stop new uses and assess removal of content under our control.

Sharing and retention

Information you send may be shared with the travel agency Uma Família em Viagem (RNAVT 11763) and providers needed to prepare or deliver the trip, where applicable and according to the proposal. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Travel opportunities by email

If you subscribe, we store your email, optional name, language, selected interests, consent date and wording, and confirmation and unsubscribe dates. We use Resend to send confirmation and marketing emails. Only confirmed subscribers receive communications matching their interests. Every marketing email includes links to manage preferences or unsubscribe. Withdrawing consent stops future marketing emails; minimal consent and suppression records may be retained to respect your choice. You can contact DLN Travel to exercise your data rights.

You can ask to access, correct or erase your information, or raise questions, by writing to natacha.rovisco@familiaemviagens.com. You can also complain to Portugal’s National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
